Empowering For The Future

LISTENNNNN!!!! WOMENNNNN!!! Welcome to Part 6 of Single for LYfe! I think we all have been guilty of saying any of these: "I don't need a man to supply my needs." "I can cook, clean, pay my own bills, get my own hair and nails done." "Everything he can do, I can do better." We walk around holding our noses high in the air like all the male species are little boys out here acting like dogs. I think the keyword in that last statement isn't 'dogs' (because some of them are LOL jk) but the keyword is 'boys'. Not all the male species are little boys. We must be able to decipher the difference between a boy and a man. A BOY plays games and doesn't value the females in his life. He says and does whatever he thinks you want to hear in order to get his way and do what he really wants. He shows you himself multiple times but knows how to finesse your appealing nature. This boy doesn't commit and will waste your time 2017. Howe

OMG!!! It's March which means one of my favorite months, Women's Month! With that said, I would like to dedicate this post to my hope and expectations of women and the women's movement in the future. I want to first start by thanking everyone again for reading and sharing my posts! I really appreciate it! Now, let's get right into it. I am a little satisfied with the direction we are headed in as a society. More and more women are stepping up into leadership, speaking up, and standing out for what is right! (At least that's what it seems like, of course) Many women are uplifting and empowering each other. Although they do not make it their platform (i.e. me and Empowering For the Future being my platform), I appreciate seeing the various posts and hearing comments throughout the day of how we love each other's outfits, how we converse in various random interactions, and how social media is re-evaluating stigmas and double standards.
